K-Hill Motorsports strengthens its team and deepens the competition by adding 14 year old Yuven Sundaramoorthy to their team. Yuven comes to the team from the Albany, New York area to start his rookie year with K-Hill Motorsports in their F1600 program.

Born in Oconomowoc, WI, Yuven is no stranger to racing and the level of competition and dedication it takes to compete in this program. He has over 3 years in karting and has been carefully preparing for this next level in his career. Some of his most recent accomplishments have been racing with the powerhouse team PSL Karting and also qualifying on pole in the US Open race in Las Vegas this past year. He has several top 10 finishes and a championship trophy in 2015.

In addition to competing in karts up until recently, he also has raced spec Miata’s and has been increasing his race craft in advanced training in his backyard at Monticello Motor Club in Monticello, NY. But this isn’t all this young driver excels at. He also is in accelerated classes as a freshman and is a lead team member in his Robotics competition team. And if that isn’t enough to keep him busy he also plays trumpet, lacrosse and is an avid snowboarder. Yuven has been taking life by the horns and throws himself full force into everything he does.

“Yuven is the real deal. He is a young driver that comes with many experiences from different backgrounds which makes him a fast learner. He has the ability to absorb information quickly and apply what he’s learned to the track. His first showing in Atlanta at the Majors proved that with qualifying 3rd and placing 4th and 5th in his first two races in F1600”, says Kris Kaiser, Team Principal, of K-Hill Motorsports.

K-Hill Motorsports is looking to make their four driver team strong and competitive this year in the 2017 Formula Race Promotions F1600 Championship Series. Keep an eye on their drivers as they are looking to make a positive impact in racing this season.
