Birchwood, WI - It has been announced today that the WISKO Race Team has signed-on an additional race driver for their F1600 Championship Series program to join 2011 Bertil Roos Series champion, Paul Alspach. The new entrant comes by the name of Aaron Telitz of Wisconsin.

Telitz brings to the table not only a wealth of success in karting and as a Skip Barber Race Series race winner and scholarship winner, but also brings to the team his driver coach Steve Welk, as well as main sponsor Rice Lake Weighing Systems - a Wisconsin based corporation and an international leader in the manufacturing and distribution of weight-related products and process-control equipment, which will support Telitz in his 2013 race season with WISKO.

Telitz and Alspach will be piloting brand new Mygale Honda SJ formula cars which are imported and constructed by Bryan Herta Autosport in Indiana. Bryan Herta Autosport recognizes WISKO Race Engineering as a factory supported Mygale team for 2013 and will be offering engineering support to both drivers for the season. The mutual engagement between WISKO and Bryan Herta Autosport is an effort to keep the French car manufacturer (Mygale) at the top of the field in F1600 competition.

The announcement of Telitz's addition now tallies to a five-car team for WISKO's 2013 pro racing outfit, with three F2000 cars (Kevin Kopp, Federico Mosconi, Shane Morris) and now two F1600's (Paul Alspach, Aaron Telitz).

"I can't wait to get my season going! I'm really looking forward to working with WISKO and Bryan Herta Autosport and making a championship run in F1600 this year. I know that WISKO will prepare and excellent race car for me, and a great environment for me to grow as a race car driver," said Telitz when asked about his 2013 commitments.

Paul Alspach took time out of his busy academic schedule to join the WISKO team at their headquarters in Virginia for a seat fitting on Monday. When asked about the upcoming season, Alspach had this to say: "I'm really excited for the racing season to begin. It feels like forever since I was last in a race car. I'm looking forward to the challenge of a new car and another season with the WISKO guys."

The team prepares to put themselves to the test in less than 30 days with the season opener for F1600 and F2000 at Virginia International Raceway, which begins Thursday, April 11th. Due to academic engagements, Alspach will not be contesting the first round of the championship season but will participate with the team for the remainder of 2013.
