WGI Race 1 Suspended

Watkins Glen, NY – Round 13 of the 2011 F2000 Championship Series season was suspended following a massive crash coming to the green flag. While just one car was involved, and the driver was reported to be okay, repairs to the armco and barriers separating the pitlane from the race track were estimated at an hour, prompting race control to declare a “non-race”.

A drivers' meeting has been called and more news will follow shortly.
