Virginia Is For Getting Married At VIR
Alton, VA – Three years ago they met at VIRginia International Raceway, and today Kristin Kopp and Ryan Moran tied the knot between F2000 and F1600 practice sessions. That was an SCCA club race, and Moran was at the event as crew while also running a VW in SCCA regularly.
Kopp Motorsports (running Spec Miata at the time) paddocked with Moran’s team and the rest is history, with Kristin’s brother, Kevin Kopp, now being a F2000 front runner and Kristin coordinating marketing activities with the Series.
The small wedding reception was held at the VIR Oak Tree Tavern, and was a mix between eloping and a private ceremony, according to the couple.
After the ceremony, the couple had photos taken in the paddock and other picturesque locations on the track done by the Formula Race Promotions photography staff.
