Lindenhurst, NY – Group-A Racing has become the official video systems supplier to the F2000 Championship Series and the F1600 Formula F Championship Series for 2011 with the VIO POV HD camera. As the official video supplier to the Series, Group A will be offering exclusive discounts on POV video cameras, at the track support, rental cameras at all events, and will be posting highlight videos following race weekends on both Series websites.
"These in-car cameras are going to bring these two racing series to a whole new level of exposure,” commented Joe Scarallo, Sr., of Group-A.
“It will also help competitors seeking sponsors and of course, coaching drivers. The highlight videos are going to be a huge hit on the websites.
There will be a discount price for all F2000 and F1600 competitors as well as a pre-order price before VIR.
Group-A will also be renting cameras to competitors, in addition to having a paddock presence to install and service equipment at all seven events in 2011.
The POV HD camera, which shoots in high-resolution 1080P, debuted on March 1. F2000 and F1600 competitors will be some of the first people in North American to have access to the new camera system.
