Spectrum F2000 Set for 2014 Debut

Borland Racing Developments Pty Ltd has unveiled the latest in its hugely successful range of Spectrum Formula Fords. Designated the 014Z and aimed at the F2000 market in the USA and Canada, the car follows the Spectrum design philosophy of safety first with a focus on performance through sound, uncomplicated design while retaining the marques now famous elegant looks.

Spectrum designer and founder Michael Borland stated: “We see this car as a logical step to follow on from the enormous success our F1600 cars have achieved in the USA and Canada. The F2000 Championship series is a fantastic arena to compete in with the cars, there is a huge range of manufacturers and has the largest open wheeler fields anywhere in the world at the moment."

Spectrum’s North American Importer Michael Duncalfe, (Exclusive Management Inc.) enthused: “We are excited about the arrival of the new Spectrum F2000 car and we’re sure it will follow in the footsteps of the F1600 Spectrum which has enjoyed immediate success in North America. Formed in 1989 Borland Racing Developments has grown to be a major player in the Formula Ford market despite its remote base in Australia, with major series’ wins in USA, Canada and Australia during 2013.
