Skylar Robinson Prepares to Tackle the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Augusta, GA- Skylar Robinson is to set continue his quest for the F2000 Championship crown at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio this upcoming weekend. The event will mark the halfway point of the season. Skylar currently sits 3rd in points, but with eight races remaining in the series, he is prepared to maximize his point totals for the weekend.
The Augusta, Georgia resident has had his fair share of ups-and-downs so far this year. After claiming a win in his series debut at Road Atlanta, he has recorded three 2nd place finishes and two DNFs. However, the recent high school honor graduate set the qualifying lap record in an F2000 car at the famed Virginia International Raceway.
“So far this year has gone really well. We’ve had a couple tough races, but I have learned from my mistakes and know what to work on moving forward. I’m looking forward to a strong weekend at Mid-Ohio”, commented Skylar.
