Quotes:

Sikes: “I had great support out here today with lots of family and friends coming to watch. I was able to get it done, my second race in my first weekend in F2000. The restarts were key. The spray was really bad behind the cars. Once I was able to get in front it was easy to find the track and were the grip was.”

Everard: “It was mainly just hard to see. I was using everything I had at the end and barely managed to keep (Roe) behind him at the end there.”

Roe: “It was just like being at home (the weather). I’m used to it, the car was handling was great. The gear linkage was denying some upshifts and downshifts, otherwise we would have won the race.”
