Exclusive Autosport has announced that Australia’s Scott Andrews will race for the team in 2015 competing in the F1600 Formula F Championship in the United States and at select F1600 races in Canada.

The 24-year-old from Torquay in Victoria, in addition to signing with Exclusive Autosport, will now see his race career managed by team-owner Michael Duncalfe via his driver representation agency, Exclusive Management Inc.

Andrews, who will drive the #94 Exclusive Autosport / Helmart / Automobility PTY Ltd / Spectrum / Sparco / Honda Racing HPD car this year, enters his first full-time season of F1600 competition in 2015 having previously raced in the category in Australia. With a host of pole positions and victories to his credit, including winning the Bathurst 12 Hours support race in 2012 and 2015, Scott’s race resume also includes a handful of starts in USF2000 competition.

“I’m pleased to welcome Scott to our Exclusive Management Inc. driver stable and of course to Exclusive Autosport to compete,” stated team owner and driver manager Michael Duncalfe. “I first met him last November in Australia when I was overseeing the Spectrum International Scholarship and he was keen to build his career over here in North America.

“We have an affinity for all things Australian being the official North American importer and distributor for Spectrum Chassis and now we’re happy to have one of their countrymen behind the wheel. Scott’s a proven winner in the category and we’re keen to make the most of that as we get set for our first season in the United States.”

“I’m very excited to be joining Exclusive Autosport for 2015, “ Scott Andrews enthused. “They’re a well-respected and successful team and I hope to bring us continued success throughout the season. I also feel honoured to be able to continue my partnership with Spectrum. I look forward to driving an Aussie built car in an international championship!"

This weekend’s SCCA Majors run-out will afford Andrews the opportunity to dial himself into Exclusive Autosport and the 12-turn, 2.54-mile Road Atlanta Circuit for the first time, the track subsequently hosting the opening round of the 2015 F1600 Formula F Championship, 10th-12th April.

Formed in 2013, Exclusive Autosport has quickly forged a reputation as one of North America’s premier junior formula outfits. Championship success came quickly under Michael Duncalfe’s leadership with notable achievements including back-to-back driver titles in 2013 and 2014 in the Canadian Toyo Tires F1600 A-Class Championship and in the Quebec Formula Tour 1600 Championship.

Exclusive Management Inc. is the official North American Importer and Distributor for Spectrum Chassis, designed and produced by Borland Racing Developments in Australia.
