Augusta, GA- After a standout performance at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut, Skylar Robinson and his Eric Langbein Racing crew are ready to take on the challenges of Watkins Glen and winning a championship during the final event of the F2000 Championship.

The Augusta, Georgia native sits just 4 points behind defending series champion Tim Minor, and with two qualifying session and two races, it gives Robinson multiple opportunities to grab the points lead and possibly take the title.

During the series’ first trip to Watkins Glen this year in May, Skylar would make his debut at the fast and sweeping upstate New York track.  After a roller coaster weekend, Robinson would emerge with lessons learned and a general understanding of the Glen.

“Our first weekend at Watkins Glen was pretty tough even though we came away with a 2nd in Race 1.  I didn’t get many laps there over the course of the weekend, but I enjoyed the track and am looking forward to going back there,” Skylar commented.

So far this year, Skylar has claimed 3 wins, 8 podiums, 4 poles, 4 fastest race laps, and 4 lap records.

“It’s been a good year up to this point.  So now we just need to finish strong and the rest will take care of itself,” Robinson said.
