Registration Now Open for Formula Race Promotions at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

Formula Race Promotions (FRP) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the second event of the 2026 Formula Race Promotions calendar, set for the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course over the April 24–26 weekend. Drivers and teams are invited to join FRP for a weekend of competition, excitement, and fun at one of North America’s most iconic and challenging road courses.

The Mid-Ohio event will feature a full slate of FRP competition, including the following classes:

F1600, F2000, Atlantic 016, and Open classes, CCS FV, VS2000, and FFCS. With the FE-2 class originally scheduled, FRP officials have decided to remove it due to participation numbers and replace it with additional test sessions for all run groups on Friday morning, providing an extra hour of track time for all teams and participants.

As the 2026 season continues to build momentum, the Mid-Ohio weekend will serve as an important early-season stop for drivers and teams looking to gain valuable championship points and continue their development in one of the country’s best grassroots and affordable motorsports programs.

“We’re looking forward to heading back to Mid-Ohio for the second event weekend of the 2026 season,” explained FRP’s Bob Wright. “It’s a tremendous facility with a great history of producing exciting racing, and it’s always a favorite among our teams and drivers. We expect another strong weekend and are excited to see the FRP paddock continue to grow as the season moves forward.”
