F2000 Championship Series Driver and former F1600 Formula F Championship driver Austin McCusker was given ten questions, and came back with ten answers about racing, his life, and a couple other topics.

Q: Who inspires you as a driver? 

A: Kimi Raikkonen 

Q: Best moment in your racing career so far?

A: I have many great moments in my racing career, some examples are two WKA Manufactures Cup National Championships, multiple national wins in go-karts, second place at the Skusa Supernationals racing against some of the best in the world and being given the opportunity to race in the F2000 Championship Series. 

Q: You’re stranded on an island: What three things would you bring?

A: I would bring water, food and some type of hunting gear. 

Q: What is the transition from F1600 to F2000 like? 

B: The transition from f1600 to f2000 wasn't too difficult but there were many differences between the two. The differences that stood out to me the most were the braking and now having downforce. 

Q: How did you originally get into motorsports? 

A: I originally got into motorsports when my dad bought me a go kart at the age of seven and from then on I never stopped from there. 

Q: Who do you look up to? 

A: I look up to my Dad the most out of anyone.

Q: What kind of hobbies do you have off the track?

A: Some hobbies I have is working on my car, hanging out with friends and going to the gym. 

Q: If you could be any superhero who would you be? 

A: I would probably be Captain America. 

Q: How did the PBIR weekend go for you? 

A: The weekend went well with a result of third in just my second F2000 race and third weekend in the car. As a team we were very happy with how the whole weekend shaped out to be. 

Q: What are your expectations for the 2015 season? 

A: My expectations for the 2015 season in the F2000 Championship Series are to hopefully be on the podium in some races and possibly a race win during the season. I feel very confident with the car, team and my self that we can succeed in all these things.
