Parker Chase Inks Chastain Motorsports Deal for 2015

New Braunfels, Texas - December 31, 2014 - After testing in the open wheel formula car ranks late in 2014, New Braunfels, Texas driver Parker Chase is set to start his move up the motorsports ladder. Inking a deal this week with Jay Howard and his Motorsports Driver Development program and Chastain Motorsports, Chase will see action in the F1600 Formula F Championship Series as well as national level karting throughout North America in 2015.

"This is exciting times for Parker, making the transition to cars is a dream come true for anyone in racing," explained Jay Howard, as the duo prepares for the upcoming Florida Winter Tour. "Parker is a driver with loads of talent and support behind his efforts, and he and his father are approaching the move to cars with an unparalleled effort. Showing the commitment to join forces with my coaching and management company as well as with a qualified team in F1600 while still competing in the highest level of karting in North America, Chase will be a threat in 2015 and beyond."

Set to take on the F1600 Formula F Championship Series, Chase will also compete in the 2015 Florida Winter Tour (FWT) ROK and Rotax weekends, Cold Stone Rotax Grand Nationals, Cold Stone Rotax Pan American Challenge and the SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour.

"I am ready to get the season started," explained Parker Chase. "Working with a coach such as Jay Howard and Chastain Motorsports is exciting."

Howard continued, "I am very optimistic for what the future holds, Parker is a talented young driver. He will move up the racing ladder and I look forward to the journey with him."

Parker's season will start in early January at the Florida Winter Tour ROK Cup USA program where he will compete in the ROK Junior class over the January 16th - 18th weekend at the Homestead Karting facility on the grounds of the famed Homestead-Miami Speedway. Jet setting his way north on the the night of the 18th, Chase will jump into his Chastain Motorsports F1600 car at the NOLA Motorsports Park for a two day test on the 19th and 20th. Back south after the completion of his car test, Chase will once again participate in the Florida Winter Tour; this time aboard a Rotax powered Tony Kart in the Rotax Max Challenge portion of the winter series January 21st to the 25th.

Throughout the 2015 season, Chase will have the opportunity to compete at some of North America's legendary racing facilities including Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Virginia International Raceway and Mid-Ohio.
