Mohegan Lake, NY - Momentum MotorSports will expand its F2000 Championship Series effort for the 2012 season, adding a new Radon Rn.10 alongside the team’s existing Van Diemen. The New York-based team is ramping up efforts after running various events with a single entry in 2010 and 2011.

"We've been waiting for a modern chassis for F2000, one with real advantages over the current cars," stated Phil Picard, owner of Momentum MotorSports. "The Rn.10 is the future of the series, with cutting edge aerodynamics and advanced suspension design, and has been fast right out of the box. It's also the safest car ever built for this class. We need to be on the leading edge, so Radon was the obvious choice."

Momentum will be conducting a pre-season testing program during February and March, prior to the F2000 Series opening at VIRginia International Raceway, April 12-15.

Radon Sport has confirmed its affiliation with Momentum MotorSports in the 2012 season, including full access to the latest development parts and support.

Nathan Ulrich of Radon Sport added: "We look forward to actively working with Phil in 2012. We get many inquiries from drivers looking to drive a Radon, and not all of them are interested in purchasing their own car. Phil is meticulous in his car prep and support and can provide an attractive option for them."

Momentum MotorSports is actively seeking drivers for the 2012 season, and in addition to the new Radon also has the latest spec Van Diemen chassis available.
