Kirk Kindsfater Signs with K-Hill Motorsports for Atlantic Effort

Colorado native Kirk Kindsfater will join K-Hill Motorsports for the 2016 Atlantic Championship Series.  Kindsfater is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement at the Orthopedic and Spine Center of the Rockies.  He currently resides in Eaton, Colorado with his wife and three kids.



Kindsfater started competing in the Skip Barber Race Series in 2002. He then graduated to Formula Continental before moving up to the D Sports Racer class in 2012. In the DSR class, he claimed the SCCA Majors Midwest Division Championship and the Rocky Mountain Division Championship. After a productive 2012, the 55 year-old would progress to the C Sports Race class where he had similar success, claiming two championships. Most recently, he competed in the Prototype 1 category scoring numerous wins on his was to two more championships.

In addition to his numerous championships, Kindsfater has claimed a multitude of track records and has over 25 SCCA Major and National wins to his name since 2012.

The Atlantic Championship Series kicks off April 7-10 at Road Atlanta before heading to Watkins Glen International.
