K-Hill Poised for F1600 Program
Abbottstown, PA – K-Hill Motorsports is currently leading the Atlantic Championship Series point standings off a Road Atlanta double-win with Daniel Burkett, alongside a five-car Atlantic, and two-car F2000 program. The team has made another important step on the Formula Race Promotions ladder, recently acquiring a F1600 Mygale/Honda with the intention to run a third program in the competitive F1600 Formula F Championship Series.
“This is a natural step for K-Hill Motorsports,” commented team owner Kris Kaiser. “With the schedule featuring F1600 on all seven weekends, it is economical for us to add a F1600 program as well. That Series is proving to be taking off this year with great racing and a large, competitive grid. We look forward to throwing our hat into the ring.”
Added Chip Robinson, Formula Race Promotions race director: “We are pleased to see K-Hill add a F1600 car to their stable. They have a proven history of success in Atlantic and F2000, and we expect their F1600 program to be just as competitive."
At Road Atlanta, besides a double-win for Canadian Burkett, K-Hill’s Conner Kearby ran both F2000 and Atlantic races and finished second in Sunday’s Atlantic race. He was joined by Jason Rabe on the F2000 side, who piloted his No. 14 Van Diemen to a top ten finish.
On the Atlantic front, K-Hill had a mixture of drivers and cars at Road Atlanta, with Bruce Crockett and Bruce Hamilton in Swift 014/Toyotas, while Conner and Gaston Kearby, along with Daniel Brukett, were in Swift 016/Mazdas.
Burkett, along with Rabe and Conner Kearby, are aspiring, career-minded drivers.
