Hey Everyone,

We are getting into the thick of the race season. I have been looking forward to getting back to The Glen for quite some time. The track is fantastic, the scenery is beautiful and I expect the racing there one the weekend to be top notch.

The last time that we raced at The Glen was in 2009 in the F2000 Championship series. I am excited to get out onto the track in my Formula 1600 to experience the track in a different car.

This season is all about learning and progressing with the new HPD motor through the different tracks and series that we will participate in.

The team and I had an excellent first weekend at the inaugural race of the F1600 Formula F Championship series. With the Honda motor under the rear hatch, we were very excited to see what it could do. After two top ten finishes and top placing Honda-powered car on Sunday, it was a great start to the new series for the team. VIR is a track that I really enjoy. There is quite a challenge to it, and it is very fast.

Since returning from VIR, I have completed my Internship placement with the Fan Services Department at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment. In June, I will be graduating from Durham College’s Sport Business Management Graduate Certificate program. It is amazing how fast five years of post-secondary school flies by.

Three weeks ago, we raced in our first weekend of the season at Mosport in the Formula Libre class for the BEMC Spring Trophy Races. Mosport, while it is my home track, is definitely one of my absolute favourites to race at. Turn two and turn 4, 5a, and 5b always have something new to throw at you. This year we were also lucky with the weather, last year it snowed!

See everyone at the track on the weekend!
