Noblesville, IN - Will Harvey will return for a second F1600 Formula F Championship Series season, as part of a four-car team for Chastain Motorsports. Circle-track driver turned road racer, the college freshman at MIT enjoyed a strong rookie season during 2014 and will be in similar equipment in a blue Mygale/Honda.

"I'm excited to be back on the circuit in 2015 with Chastain Motorsports," said Harvey. "It will take a lot of work to find a balance between my development on the track and classes at MIT, but I feel ready to take on the challenge. I know that with the team's great experience and everything I learned last year, we'll be ready to put up a fight."

Harvey will get to enjoy expanded race time in 2015, as Series organizers have moved from a seven-weekend/14 race schedule to 21 races over the same seven weekends, and even added an early season test weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway in Florida.

Harvey joins Parker Chase, and two more to-be-announced drivers at Chastain’s F1600 team, all racing under the eyes of IndyCar driver Jay Howard and his coaching program. Harvey has already had a chance to mesh with team staff and Howard during off-season testing.

Harvey was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at an early age, and has embraced the disease and uses it to discover new experiences every day. At the age of 10, he began to race at the local dirt track and has not slowed down since then, picking up multiple victories.

In his debut season he had laps led at Pittsburgh and a pair of sixth place finishes.

Off the track, Harvey matches his on-track efforts in both the classroom and the community. Along with maintaining a GPA of over 4.0 in school, he has received recognition as an accomplished musician. The driver's passion and determination on the racetrack are also evident in his work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he helps to raise awareness and funds for scientific research.
