Group-A Racing is happy to announce the signing of young Jamaican driver Collin Daley to a testing and a racing program. The program will include some testing days along with the next round of the F2000 Championship Series at New Jersey Motorsports Park. With Collin joining the team and the series, he will become the first Jamaican driver to race in the series and for the team.

Collin Daley, also called CJ, has an extensive career and resume in karting, starting at the age of 8 in Jamaica. Since his start, Collin has won the championship in every single age group. Along with that, he is the youngest overall champion in the history of Jamaican karting. CJ has moved up to the Open ICC shifter kart ranks racing in the Florida Winter Tour, where yet again, he was another very strong force to deal with.

Through this he gained a lot of credibility, to the point where he has been invited to test with now the elite Red Bull Junior drivers. This is a program that has taken many drivers to Formula One such as current reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel. The Red Bull Junior program has allowed him to get his first race car experience with the Red Bull Junior team in Portugal, driving a Formula Renault this past fall. He will get to return to get more seat time with them after his time with Group-A Racing.

“We are really looking forward to having Collin join the team. He has a very impressive and extensive karting resume, and we are ecstatic to be the people able to help him make the transition from karts to cars. This is a big step in his career and we are very confident that with the program we have put together for him he will be able to learn and improve an incredible amount, to get him ready to go back to Europe with the Red Bull Junior Team.” Said Group-A Racing team owner Joe Scarallo Sr.

Collin Daley Jr. is backed by Madison Financial Group/MSI.  Madison Financial Group is headed by Horace Madison, a long-time Business Manager from the US. Clients have included OutKast, Usher, DMX, Eve, Ma$e, Arian Foster and Glen "Big Baby" Davis.  Current clients include Lil Wayne/Young Money; Meek Mill; Torion; and Reema Major.  Plus there are "local" Caribbean clients such as Cess Silvera, Jamaican film writer/Director; Kirk Brown, Singer/Actor from Barbados and JonFX, Jamaican music producer. MSI in conjunction with Gina Ford of G2 Marketing handles the Management and Marketing responsibilities for CJ. Additionally MSI is starting to work closely with Carole Beckford of Beckford & Associates, to expand their presence in the Caribbean, especially Jamaica.
