Grant Tops Friday Time Sheets
Wampum, PA - With momentum on his side following his first trip to victory lane of the 2017 Atlantic Championship Series season, Polestar Racing Group's David Grant was the man to beat after 80 minutes of Friday practice at the newly-paved Pittsburgh International Race Complex. Grant, driving the No. 29 Swift 016/Mazda, set his fastest time in the second session at 1:32.450 following a victory at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course earlier in July.
Grant dropped his time by more than a tenth of a second between the morning and afternoon sessions, running a total of 48 laps, more than any other driver in the Atlantic Championship Series field.
