FRP’s Austin McCusker Wins in FC at Runoffs

September 30, 2017

Indianapolis, IN – Austin McCusker led a Formula Race Promotions sweep of the FC class at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Runoffs. McCusker won the national title driving a smart, consistent race, and won ahead of F2000’s Robert Allaer with Tim Minor finishing third, another F2000 driver and past Champion.

McCusker now sets his sights on a return to victory lane in the F2000 Championship Series. He won in May at Mid-Ohio and is set to race at New Jersey Motorsports Park next weekend in the season finale for DotWorks Racing.

McCusker followed in his brother John's footsteps into Formula Race Promotions competition, entering the ultra-competitive F1600 Championship Series in 2014, and then moving up to F2000.

Formula Race Promotions congratulates Austin McCusker on his success at the Runoffs.
