FRP at the SuperNats

November 28, 2016

Salem, NH - Formula Race Promotions (FRP) officials, teams and drivers recently descended on Las Vegas, Nevada for the annual Superkarts! USA SuperNationals (SuperNats), an annual world-famous karting race.

The event draws big names, such as former F2000 driver and now IndyCar star Connor Daly , along with aspiring drivers from all over the world.

Representing F1600 were Calvin Ming, Trenton Estep and Parker Chase - who ran in F1600 in 2015 and is now a front-runner in Pirelli World Challenge.

For F1600, F2000 and Atlantic teams, it was an opportunity to survey the latest talent and meet with interested drivers ahead of the 2017 FRP season, which opens at VIRginia International Raceway, April 28-30.

FRP also had staff on site, available to answer questions about joining the Series and what to expect for newdrivers and teams looking to join the paddock.

"We met with a number of new interested parties and also reached out to new prospects in the karting community," commented FRP co-owner Robert Wright. "The SuperNats draws some of the best karters from all over the world, and it's important to be represented there as an avenue for them to climb the car-racing ladder when they are ready. F1600 offers the perfect transition from karts to cars, and after that, drivers can move through our F2000 and Atlantic programs and be ready to drive just about anything."

It was the 20th annual edition of the SuperNats, with 10 different categories (classes) of races on offer for the half-week-long event in Las Vegas.
