Formula Race Promotions Set for Iconic Road America and a Must-See Summer Weekend
Formula Race Promotions (FRP) is bringing its 2026 program to one of the most beloved circuits in all of North American motorsport – the legendary Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Surronded by rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine, and is more than just a race track – it is a destination, an experience, and a summer tradition for racing fans across the country.
“Road America and the surrounding Elkhart Lake area are truly spectacular in the summer months” explained FRP’s Bob Wright. “The charming village of Elkhart Lake offers lakeside dining, boutique shops, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere that makes for a wonderful base camp for the weekend. Whether you’re arriving with young kids in tow or planning a full family getaway, this is one of the most enjoyable race weekends on the FRP calendar – on and off the track.”

The Road America event weekend will have a Thursday test day increasing the already ample track time on the 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course as FRP will operate their standard classes of F1600, F2000, Atlantic 016, and Atlantic Open classes.
