Formula Race Promotions Formula Speedfest Crest’s 100 Entries for Upcoming Mid-Ohio Event
The 2025 Formula Race Promotions (FRP) series is gearing up for an unforgettable weekend at the iconic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course next weekend, as the highly anticipated FORMULA SPEEDFEST takes center stage! With more than 100 formula cars entered, this event will be one of the largest open-wheel race weekends of the year, bringing together new and returning drivers at one of the most challenging and legendary tracks in the United States.
“The entry list for FORMULA SPEEDFEST demonstrates the undeterred high level of enthusiasm for formula car racing,” explained Bob Wright, Owner of FRP. “We’re seeing an incredible mix of established champions and rising stars, and with over 100 cars entered, this is shaping up to be a monumental event. This is going to be an exciting full weekend of all formula racing!
The action will span a three-day weekend, featuring multiple open-wheel classes that include F1600, F1600 Masters, F2000, Atlantic, FFCS, FE2, and the FV Challenge Cup. Whether a seasoned racer or a first-time competitor, FORMULA SPEEDFEST will offer something for everyone.
Testing and practice sessions kick off on Friday, and the weekend will heat up on Saturday with qualifying and the first races of the event. But that's not all—teams, competitors, and spectators will also see intense competition throughout Sunday as drivers look to stand on the podium and continue their quest for an FRP title.
“This event marks a special milestone for FRP as we celebrate our 20th anniversary,” Wright continued. “The Mid-Ohio event is a special place for us, we have been to Mid-Ohio every year since starting this series, and this year we’ve poured everything we’ve got into making it bigger and better than ever before. The entry numbers are through the roof, and the energy surrounding this event is palpable. We are beyond excited to see the track come alive next weekend!”
Clay Hutchison added, “The buzz around this event is huge, and it’s clear that everyone is ready to see some incredible racing. We’ve got an amazing field of talented drivers, the competition will be fierce, and with full fields, the photo opportunities will be fantastic!
