Formula Race Promotions Announces 2026 Schedule

November 19, 2025

With the 2025 Formula Race Promotions race season done and dusted, the 2026 schedule is now confirmed and announced. With an eight-event program featuring historic tracks and some of North America’s favorite venues, the FRP staff is excited about the series’ future and growth in 2026 and beyond.

“We’ve collaborated closely with our partners, Trans Am, and SVRA to deliver the strongest and most diverse schedule possible,” expressed Bob Wright. “The season will kick off in January with a two-day test at Sebring, and possibly some non-championship racing for fun in conjunction with Trans Am. We expect to have at least six hours of track time, maybe more; stay tuned for the format with registration opening early December.”

Wright continued, “The official season opens in late March at our usual Road Atlanta, kick-off event, continuing with Mid-Ohio, Road America, Watkins Glen, Summit Point, Carolina Motorsports Park, with our final Championship Event and Awards Party at Barber Motorsports Park in October.  With the demise of PittRace, we have had to scramble a bit, and as a result, the schedule is more expanded and longer than in previous years, but finishing at Barber will be an absolute treat.”
