Wampum, PA - A full preview of the weekend, talking to select drivers that make up the grid of the F1600 Formula F Championship Series.

Hans Ada, No. 33 Entry:

“I haven't raced at Pittsburgh yet but I have tested there once last fall. Like always I will study video and test the track on iRacing. A good weekend would be a consistent top-five finish but I believe I have what it takes now to win. It has now been a full year that I have been racing on asphalt and every time I progress a solid step towards learning the art of asphalt racing.”

Peter Portante, No. 24 Entry:

“Here at Pitt we are looking to keep doing what we have been doing all year, being the fastest car on track. The biggest thing for this weekend is, and as stupid as it sounds, is to not get hit. If we can finish a race with contact we can guarantee ourselves a very good chance for the win. This will be my first time competing here at Pittsburgh, however I have done Private Coaching work here before, so I am very eager to transfer the information I have seen and taught into my own racing here at Pitt Race Complex.”

Steve Bamford, No. 07 Entry:

“In F1600 we are still chasing the leaders and need a few wins to narrow the margin. I have held both race and qualifying records for F1600 in the past on the new track so hope to use the speed we have there to get poles and wins.”
