Braselton, GA – Spectrum/Honda driver Jake Eidson paced two out of three morning practice sessions at Road Atlanta, setting the fastest time overall at a blazing 1:29.830. The Cape Motorsports racer is second in the points coming off two second place finishes in Virginia in April, while Adrian Starrantino leads the Championship on a sweep at VIR and was fastest in the opening session for Bryan Herta Autosport before an impact in turn one.

Eidson’s fast time came in the second practice, ahead of WISKO Racing’s Aaron Telitz – in a Mygale/Honda, and then it was another second and a half back to Steve Bamford.

Ayla Agren’s Mygale/Honda was fourth quick in the second session after losing a wheel in practice one. Lew Cooper rounded out the top five in a Polestar-prepped Van Diemen/Ford.

Rounding out the top ten were Sam Chastain, Scott Rubenzer, Haru Tanaka, Joe Colasacco and Art Foster.

Teltiz's performance for WISKO was impressive, as the young racer piloted the No. 13 to third, second and second fastest times over the three sessions.
A late driver change saw Slade Miller take over Quantum Racing Service’s Van Diemen/Honda.

Also with a notable improvement was Chastain, in his first season out of karts, improving three seconds over three sessions to run a fast time of 1:31.654.

Qualifying for Friday’s first round at the 12-turn Road Atlanta gets going at 4:30 local time.
