Eidson Beats Grant for Mid-Ohio Pole
Lexington, OH – Jake Eidson edged David Grant during what turned out to be a two-car duel for the pole position at Mid-Ohio for round nine of the 2013 F1600 Formula F Championship Series. The points leader from Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing in the Spectrum/Honda beat out veteran driver Grant, making his first ever F1600 start, in a Van Diemen/Ford for Polestar Racing Group. Eidson shattered the existing track record ahead of Grant. Fellow title contenders Aaron Telitz and Adrain Starrantino qualified on row two.
