Cowley Wins in Formula F at Indy
Indianapolis, IN – Formula Race Promotions drivers dominated the 2017 Runoffs in Formula F at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The F1600 Championship Series contenders stole the show, as Matthew Cowley and Team Pelfrey battled to the win at Indy ahead of F1600 pro series rivals Zach Holden and Jonathan Kotyk. Yuven Sundaramoorthy also ran well, challenging for the win on the last lap.
Cowley, who leads the points standings in F1600 ahead of K-Hill’s Holden, now looks to cap a strong F1600 season heading into the triple-header season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park next weekend.
The Team Pelfrey driver leads the points over Holden, as those two essentially dominated the Runoffs race, with FRP drivers sweeping the podium as Kotyk came home third for Pelfrey.
Formula Race Promotions would like to congratulate Cowley and the Pelfrey team on their success at Indianapolis.
