Quotes from the Top Finishers:

Matthew Cowley:

"I was holding back and wasn't going to push too hard and make silly moves early on. It is a long race and with a draft anyone can win it. It comes down to the last few laps. It was unfortunate to see my teammate and Zach Holden make contact in turn four, and I capitalized it and moved forward."

David Osborne:

"It was great to be near the top today. I started fifth and I'm happy to be out here. Thanks to Team Pelfrey for the fast cars, we're looking forward to tomorrow."

Cliff Johnson:

"We're happy to be here, we love this track and the race worked out in our favor. We have been fast all weekend and tried not to screw up."

Other Notes:

- Ryan Bjerke scored his best career finish in F1600 competition, driving the Raceworks Spectrum/Honda to fourth.

- Scott Rubenzer and Joel Haas completed the Masters Class podium.

- Zach Holden led at the white flag, battling in the No. 96 K-Hill Motorspots entry against a trio of Pelfrey cars. However, both Holden and Jonathan Kotyk failed to finish following reported contact in turn four.

- Holden started from pole and will start from pole again on Sunday morning, having set the fastest lap of the race around the 13-turn, 2.25-mile circuit at 1:30.027.
