Watkins Glen 2009: Fabio Orsolon takes Hard Charger by going from 31st to 7th.

New York, NY – CellMark Paper announced today that it would sponsor the 2010 F2000 Championship Series Hard Charger Award, becoming an associate sponsor of the series. The CellMark Paper Hard Charger Award will recognize the driver that improves his or her position the most from the starting grid to the finishing order during all 14 races.

An official score will be kept, with all races and all positions counted, towards an end of season tally. Whichever driver improves their position most over the course of 2010 will receive a check for $1,000 at the series banquet following the season finale at Mid-Ohio.

“The CellMark Paper Hard Charger Award is a welcome addition for the 2010 season and is sure to add interest and competition throughout the year,” commented Michael Rand, Managing Director, F2000. “Our traditionally large fields offer every competitor many opportunities to overtake regardless of starting position.”

To be eligible for the contingency award, cars will be required to carry CellMark Paper decals.

The Paper Division, based in Norwalk, CT, has been a primary sponsor of Timothy Paul for several years in Sprint Cars and Midgets, and this year will be sponsoring his rookie F2000 effort in the #06 SMR Van Diemen. Additional sponsorship for teammate Tad Uzzle in the #14 Race House car has been announced as well.

In only 25 years CellMark AB has become the largest privately held marketer of forest products in the world. Based in Gothenburg, Sweden CellMark has sales offices in 20 countries around the world specializing in printing paper, recycled paper, packaging and pulp.
