Burkett Grabs Pole at Mid-Ohio

Lexington, OH – Daniel Burkett started out a little slower than usual in the beginning of Saturday’s qualifying session, but dropped the fastest lap on lap 9, then shortly retired to the paddock. The K-Hill Motorsports driver’s fast lap is now the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course track qualifying record for the Atlantic Championship Series with a 1:16.295. Starting next to Burkett in the afternoon’s race, is Atlantic Creations’ Jimmy Simpson. Ethan Ringel, Keith Grant, and Michael Mallinen round out the top five.
