Noblesville, IN – After a debut at the season finale in 2014, Andy Lewis has signed with Chastain Motorsports for the full 2015 F1600 Formula F Championship Series. Lewis will partner with the already announced Parker Chase and Will Harvey, part of a four-car F1600 Mygale/Honda team.

“I'm really looking forward to running a full season with Chastain Motorsports. After running a couple tests days and last year's F1600 finale with them, I've learned that they are highly professional, have top-notch equipment and great coaching, so it gives me the best opportunity to succeed this season,” said Lewis.

Lewis, like his teammates, will be under the mentorship of IndyCar driver Jay Howard, who will serve as coach and engineer over the 21-race 2015 season.

Added Howard: "I am really happy Andy signed on with the team, we have a great team of drivers, Andy did great in our recent NOLA private test. I am optimistic for Andy, he is extremely intelligent and continues to get faster in the car with every lap he completes, going to be a fun season."

Lewis, 19 years old and from Indianapolis, is a second generation racer as his father campaigns a vintage Formula Ford. He will begin the season as a sophomore in the mechanical engineering program at the University of Michigan.

He brings with him both Skip Barber experience and lots of karting time, in addition to a number of weekends in a Formula BMW and a weekend racing a Formula F car at the June Sprints at Road America in June last season.

Lewis had two solid outings at Watkins Glen last October in his pro debut to close out the 2014 F1600 season.

The season starts with a non-points event at Palm Beach International Raceway, February 12-14, followed by the season opener at Road Atlanta, April 10-12.
