Abigail Froehlich to Make Full FRP F1600 Debut in 2025 with K-Hill Motorsports

At just 17 years old, Abigail Froehlich is set to embark on an exciting new chapter in her racing career, a full-season campaign in the Formula Race Promotions (FRP) F1600 series for 2025.
Abigail’s racing resume began just two years ago when she took her first laps in a Rotax recreational kart in 2023. In 2024, she transitioned into the competitive CKNA LO206 karting series, quickly showcasing her potential. Now, she’s ready to make the jump to open-wheel racing, a challenge she eagerly anticipates.
“I’m EXTREMELY excited about running FRP this year with K-Hill Motorsports,” said Abigail. “I started late in auto racing, so to be able to make it to this level this quickly is very exciting. It will be very challenging getting used to a new car, gear shifting, and all the information that you have to learn, but it’s a challenge that I am up for.”
When Abigail isn’t on track, she enjoys spending time sim racing and video games, designing race suits and cars, building F1 Lego models. Beyond racing, she participates in an iRacing league, horseback riding, and is an active member of Youth Racers of America and Shift Up Now, an all-female racing association.

Her primary goal for 2025 is to gain as much experience as possible, about her car, her race craft, and collaborate effectively with her team. By the end of the season, she hopes to secure mid-to-top-pack finishes in her rookie FRP campaign.
“Abby's unique perspective, inspired by her love of engineering, design, and competition, makes her a driver to watch in the upcoming FRP F1600 season. Stay tuned as she takes her first steps into the exciting world of open-wheel racing!” - Brandi Kaiser
