2011 F2000 Awards and Opportunities

Teams will have opportunities to take home cash and discounted services/products in 2011.

Sharon, CT- A number of awards, cash prizes and discounted product opportunities are available to F2000 competitors in 2011.

Series Purse:

1st place - $300 + Three Hoosier tire vouchers ($675 value)

2nd place - $300 + Two Hoosier tire vouchers ($450 value)

3rd place - $300 + One Hoosier tire voucher ($225 value)

4th place - $400; 5th place - $300; 6th place - $200; 7th place - $100.

Masters Class:

For drivers over the age of 40 – first in the finishing order - $300 and 2 Hoosier tire vouchers ($450 value); 2nd - $300 and one Hoosier tire voucher ($225 value); 3rd - $300.

CellMark/SMR: CellMark Paper and SMR are sponsoring the Hard Charger Award ($ bonus), a $1,000 champion payout and a $500 award to be given out at the banquet and “determined at the last second”.  Learn More.

SOS Watkins Glen Cup: Competitors can also fight for the SOS Children’s Villages Watkins Glen Cup, awarded to whoever accumulates the most points at all four Watkins Glen races. Click here for more information.

Afterburner Pole Award: Afterburner will be giving out a $100 gift card to each pole winner during the course of the 14-race F2000 season.

WRD: Williams Racing Developments will have a contingency program for 2011, offering more to entrants at race weekends where they will have trackside support as well as a complete ready-to-run LD200 assembly and various spares.

Video: Group-A Racing is offering discounted video systems to F2000 competitors. Group-A will also have units available for rental, trackside support and  will be producing a weekend highlight video to be featured prominently on the Series website at all events in 2011.
