14 Cars Already Sold for USF4
Salem, NH – In the 10 days following the USF4 Championship Series announcement, 14 new Mygale F4 cars have already been ordered. As interested parties around the world inquire, early batches of state-of-the-art F4 cars are set to be delivered to their new owners ahead of the inaugural 21-race season in 2016.
“In 10 days since announcing USF4 we have been flat-out fielding questions about the Series,” commented Robert Wright and Al Guibord, co-owners of Formula Race Promotions, which also puts on the F1600, F2000 and Atlantic Championships.
“To say there has been a lot of interest is an understatement,” they continued. “We’re looking forward to an exciting 2016 season and a large field. The fact that 14 cars were ordered so quickly shows there is a market for this. The level of interest and commitment is phenomenal.”
The USF4 Mygale, powered by a 1.6l Ford turbocharged engine and on Hoosier spec tires, will be on display at the Formula Race Promotions weekend at New Jersey Motorsports Park, August 28-30.
In addition, the Series will shortly announce a demo day this October for qualified participants to grab a couple of laps in a F4 car. The 21-race weekend schedule will be announced this fall along with the schedules for Atlantic, F2000 and F1600.
The 14 cars ordered come after five cars that have been ordered and delivered to the U.S. prior to the Series announcement on August 4.
Delivery is on a first-come first-serve basis. Coming fully assembled to Tampa, the car is listed under $60,000 with a gearbox, engine, shocks, data system and much more.
The first batch of cars heading for North America is scheduled for a November delivery, closely followed by another batch before New Years. Cars can also be fast-tracked and air-shipped for an extra cost.
Cars coming into Tampa can be picked up at Mygale North America, or shipped directly to the customer. The new cars can also be race-prepared by Mygale prior to final delivery.
Interested teams and drivers should contact Mygale North America at (727) 504-1414 or the Series at 855-722-3377.
