Newey took another pole at VIR

Alton, VA – Brandon Newey continued an impressive F1600 Formula F Championship Series weekend with his second pole in two days in the No. 29 Chastain Mygale/Honda. Newey backs up his win yesterday by taking pole by a slim margin over Nikita Lastochkin and Ayla Agren, who nearly won Saturday’s race, finishing second by .042 seconds. Sam Chastain and Steve Bamford completed the top five in VIR qualifying in a all-Mygale top-seven sweep.
