International Competitor Eddie Beswick Takes FRP by Storm

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, and visiting the United States, 18-year-old Eddie Beswick took the Formula Race Promotions program by storm. A name not known to North American motorsports, Beswick entered the FRP program with the credentials of Australian Formula Ford Festival winner, as well as multiple karting championships, and closed his trip to the United States adding FRP winner to his resume.

With a goal to be a driver in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and seeing many competitors go through the FRP ranks to launch their careers in the United States, Beswick joined Synergy Motorsport to drive the #23 F1600 machine at both Road America and New Jersey Motorsports Park. Earning two victories, one at each venue, and a total of three podium results, Beswick proved that he has the speed and abilities to make a career in North American motorsports.

"I spoke with Eddie Beswick a few times over the last two races in Wisconsin and New Jersey,” F1600 Masters competitor Ken Bouquillon explained. “He is a very nice young lad, a true gentleman, and I thanked him for traveling to the United States and racing with us. We could only wish more of the youth were like Eddie, great guy."

Bob Wright added, “He is mature beyond his years and really impressed us all despite not knowing the tracks and the tires that we use over here. I expect Eddie Beswick to be a name we hear in motorsports for quite some time, and I am thankful that he chose FRP as his landing spot in the US.”

Beginning his car racing career in May of 2022, Beswick competed in only 17 races before traveling to race at FRP. With five wins, and 15 state-level podiums, Beswick has not only impressed in North America but around the world and now has race wins on two different continents.
